Teaching

Our Mission

Our teaching mission is centered around one goal: Equip our students with the knowledge and skills they need to make a positive impact on the world. We believe that excellence is the key to achieving this goal, and we strive to uphold the highest standards of academic rigor and intellectual curiosity in all of our teachings. Our aim is to foster a deep understanding of the (macro-)economic forces shaping the world today, and to provide our students with the critical thinking skills they need to navigate and respond to the challenges of the future. To achieve this, our teaching is strongly research-oriented. We believe that research and teaching go hand in hand, and we strive to create an environment where the latest insights and discoveries in macroeconomics are integrated into our curriculum. By bringing this research into the classroom, we provide our students with a dynamic and up-to-date learning experience that is closely aligned with the latest trends and developments in the field.

In particular, we are committed to addressing the issue of climate change, and we have made it a priority to integrate this topic into our curriculum at both the bachelor and master level. By endowing our students with the knowledge and tools they need to understand and address this global challenge, we believe that we can make a meaningful contribution to building a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
